
Kelly Ripa is a television producer and actress who was born on the 2nd of October in 1970. Ripa has played a variety of roles. These include Faith Fairfield on ABC's sitcom Hope & Faith and Hayley Vaughan on ABC's daytime soap opera All My Children. Since 2001 she hosts a morning program called "Live With Kelly & Ryan". Alongside her husband Mark Consuelos, Ripa owns a production company based in New York named Milojo. Kelly Maria Ripa is the daughter of Esther Ripa of Joseph Ripa who was a bus driver union president. Her birthplace was and raised Berlin, New Jersey. Ripa's sister, Linda, is a children's book author. Ripa is a Catholic. Her father, who's served in the position of Democratic County Clerk in Camden County since 2009, was born in Camden and raised there. Ripa is the first person in her family to pursue an acting profession. As a young girl, she began studying ballet. She is also a piano player. Ripa has graduated from Eastern Regional High school in New Jersey as a high-school cheerleader, was a devoted as a member of the Eastern Regional High Student Body. While in high school, her drama teacher encouraged Ripa to take up acting. Her senior year was when she made headlines when she performed as a character in "The Ugly Duckling" in a production of an area theatre. She then moved on to attend Camden County College to study psychology, but she dropped out and moved into New York City to pursue an acting career.
