Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actress. Elson, who began in acting as a young actor/model and later as a professional actress, is probably most well-known for her role as Alice Tyler as seen on CBS's science-fiction drama series. Andrea auditioned as the lead actress in ALF the smash 1986 show. She was a finalist. Andrea was a part of a variety of hit TV shows and also Movies of the Weekly for many more years before she quit the entertainment world to focus on her family. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner - the teenager daughter of Kate and Willie during a time that she was going through a turbulent period. People wrote an article in the article in which she described how challenging becoming a young girl and perform in a sitcom. Born on the 6th of March 1969 in New York City, this green-eyed actor grew up travelling due to her father's work as an advertising executive. Andrea was already a resident of New York as well as Chicago San Diego and Los Angeles before she turned 10. Andrea was able to find an agent who was based in San Diego and won her audition for the first role. Fusco supported the show's premise, by saying "ALF is at 285 years old and has the ability to drink beer, he's enough. As ALF gained more popularity with young children, NBC stated to Fusco you can't have him drinking when the children who are watching because it's not a great role model. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF could be a drinker even though he was an adult. In 1995, Fusco was diagnosed with lymphoma. This was successfully managed and his condition remained stable through the year 2019. At the Lillian Booth Actors Home of Englewood in New Jersey on Friday 26th June 2019, he passed away due to this condition at age 75.
